TRANSIENT THERMAL STRESS ANALYSIS OF GRID
SUPPORT ATTACHMENTS
A detailed transient thermal stress analysis was conducted using
Finite Element Analysis (FEA). This analysis was performed to
determine the structural integrity of support attachments to the
vessel. The analysis provided the maximum dynamic differential
pressure across the guide for the specified fatigue life of the
connections.
