COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS OF TWO HEAT
EXCHANGERS CONNECTED IN SERIES
A Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) of the heat exchangers was
performed to validate the use of the heat exchanges for an increase
in the throughput. The analysis included the determination of
thermal performances, pressure drops, shell-side maximum critical
velocity and the baffle bypass sensitivity analysis.
